It was interesting to see the iconic church in Munich. The devil’s footprint was fun to see but it was sadly gated off so we could only see it from a distance.

Poke your head in to see the devil's footprint! (aka, as far as I'm concerned, the "careless construction worker's footprint"). Otherwise, it's a pretty, spacious church, but if you're touring Europe you've probably already seen a dozen by now.

My wife went to a service here, and after we reconnected I walked through the church, which is a fine example of Gothic architecture. As a result of the severe damage it sustained during the Second World War, the vertical lines of the pillars are...More

The main cathedral in Munich has an impressive history over the centuries. Originally designed as an gothic church Munich ran out of money and finished this church with the characteristic "onion coupola" instead of the gothic tip. This special Bavarian touch made it to Munich's...More

This is a hugely impressive building and of all the churches in the city this is my favorite. The two massive tours means it is one of the most distinguishable buildings and easy to spot. The inside is also beautiful

What an amazing experience. I was moved by the detail and effort made to restore this church to its original state.

The Frauenkirche in Munich, also known as the Cathedral of Our Dear Lady, is currently being renovated, so unfortunately I could not enjoy it fully. It was still a beauty to behold, though. It's also known as the Munich Cathedral or Dom. I'm sure that...More

Don't know the answer to this. St. Peter is a good idea if you had a good preparation like a lunch or breakfast. I personally did not like the very narrow balcony, It is quite a challenge to pass between two people. But the... More
