This is a little fountain next to the Karlstor (Karls Gate). During Winter, there was ice on the fountain, which made it look special. It was very interesting when you see the water flowing out from parts of the ice.

This little fountain is of no great interest normally but in winter when iced up it takes on a whole new life. The fantastical ice that develops is well worth seeing and definitely worth a picture.

This is a rather small and not too impressive fountain you are bound to see when you stroll through Munich's old town.
