Passed by this stadium as we headed to Das Garseck Hotel. Amazing big jumps. Want to spend much more time in the area. We were only in the area 2 days, need much more time, so much to see for mountain lovers...maybe someday.

Abundant parking at the stadium makes it a perfect place for launching hikes or enjoying nearby cable cars or other amusements. The stadium itself had no cost and interesting to contrast this structure with the site of the 1976 Olympics in Innsbruck (very different scale).

Taking a look around here was neat. Being from Canada, this was different than anything I've seen before. I really felt at peace here. Fantastic to explore and there is a little place to eat right there.

Yes stadium is open daily, the restaurant there has hours that change with the seasons. And outdoor events are held there from time to time. Google Garmisch to see if any events will be during your visit.
