Take your time to really look at the houses and frescos. It really is unique and so beautiful. Make sure to take photos.

This is just one of the attractively painted buildings in Oberammergau. The frescos were designed to tell a story.

This town is justifiably famous for both the passion play and painted buildings. I personally think this is the best in town. A walk around the town is just a great half day activity.

we love this small town especially the frescos on the houses. Beautiful wood carving shops as well. Oberammergau is definitely worth a visit. The frescos tells a story .

Great place to visit especially if your looking for the world famous Christmas store Kathe Wohlfahrt wood decorations. It is the birth place. It is very pricey though but must see place!
