First time on an Alpine coaster of this sort. It was so much fun! It was €3 to park and €23 for the both of us to ride the ski lift up and take the coaster down. It was a beautiful relaxing 20 minute ski...More

take a chair lift up to the top or you can hike I believe. They have a nice playground for kids up there as well as some tree climbing activities but our kids were too little to participate. The coaster ride down is about 5mins...More

This place is a must if you visit the area. The ride up the mountain and the roller coaster down the hill were amazing. My kids loved it!!! The view going uphill is astonishing!

This coaster is so much fun. Our whole family enjoyed it. If you have any adrenaline junkies in the family and you making them visit Oberammergau for the culture then definitely bribe them with a ride on the coaster followed by an ice cream in...More

This was so fun! Pay for parking in lot and walk to chairlift. Buy tickets. 33 euros for my three kids to ride. Operator speaks English. Worth it to buy two rides. My teenage kids are still talking about this.

2.5 kilometer coaster where you control the speed. Would have done the three trip pass but did not have enough time. Only downside this Sunday is that it was crowded.

Such a fun ride for our family. The longest luge ride we've ever done and fun, fun, fun. Highly recommended.

We visited the Alpine Coaster at 11 am on a Saturday morning. It was fairly quiet at that time. The coaster is 10 mins walk from Oberammergau station. The €11 charge for the chairlift up and the coaster down is more expensive than most coasters...More

This was an unexpected treat in Oberammergau! The chairlift up the mountain is beautiful and there are a lot of activities for kids up there. Coming down the alpine coaster was so much fun for all of us!

Went with a 4 year old, who is great fan of these types of rides. They will take you up to the top with a chairlift-pleasant 20min ride. On the top there are many activities (zip line, climbing, etc) but we immediately went to the...More

I do not know to be honest. While riding uphills, the chairlift sometimes stopped, so I guess they stopped to board someone who has difficulties. I am sure they can answer you. But she will have to come down alone on the... More

I’ve observed people on the coaster in the rain, but they’ll close it for lightning storms.
