Very nice place to visit. Green water, lovely forest and some nice restaurants. There is also boats if you like to take a tour on the lake.

A lovely trip with stunning views. We took the longer boat trip to the far lake and had an excellent lunch at the inn.

a beautiful and crystal clear lake with high mountains rising rigtht from the lake itself. Boat trips to St. Bartolome church and Salet (at the end of the lake) - way to Salet takes cca 1 hour but is worth it...;)

It's beautiful lake to go boating and there are amazing treks on the other side. .you can choose from few hours to day treks neatly carved out for you...don't miss the church on the way which is really romantic and quaint... recommend Rothbach waterfall trek...More

The lake is beautiful and you can take a boat ride out across the lake for a low price. The area can get crowded but it is worth a visit.

From Salzburg you can take a bus 841 (as I remember the bus route) and you can get in to the bus from Mirabell Palace bus stop. On the bus you can buy a day ticket. With the day ticket you can go and come back from Salzburg... More

No matter which mean of transportation you'll choose, you absolutely must go to Konigssee ... Try to do that o a sunny day if you have this luxury...

if you are able to there's a great walk along side the river from Berchesgaden to konigsee, it's about 5-6 miles but definitely worth it, if not the bus runs once an hour if I remember rightly, either way both places are... More
