The place itself was intresting and beautiful. Kids loved the slides and I found really nice the lake in the mine (there was a ferry in the lake, dark room and they played classical music). But in the beginning there were not enought english directions....More

There are numerous salt mine and I chose this one just because it is open in Winter. There are two slides but don't expect too much for that. You can get much information about the salt mine. The organization is a bit confusing that we...More

Panorama tours did not disappoint in the salt mines tour. Our tour guide Walter was extremely nice and well informed. He spoke about all the places en route to the salt late and had a great sense of humour too. The salt mines were good....More

It was raining so we popped into the Salt Mine. I hadn't been for 40 years and my, how high tech it has become with videos, a light show, and whole room projectors. The tour guide was apparently very funny in German but not so...More

Get your tickets and take the guided tour through this magnificent salt mine. Stalactites and stalagmites of ice and salt cleverly lit for effect and take in the enormity of the caverns. Don't miss It. Approx 45 minute visit. Dress warm. Its cold in there.

Took the Panorama Tours from Salzburg. Scenic drive through the countryside into Germany to the Bavarian Alps. The entrance is a short walk from the bus parking lot through some shops and restaurants. You put on traditional miners' clothes and take the miners' train deep...More
