There is not much left of the castle to see, basically just ruins. Also, the views from the top are not out of the world. Do it only if you have nothing else to do that day

It is worth the climb up to the castle for the wonderful views you get of the town and the Alps. The Castle itself is not much to see.

It is a bit of a hike and a lot of stairs but the work is well worth it. The castle ruins are fascinating and the view are out of this world. And then you must descend the ruins and climb back up another set...More

Nice walk up the many stairs, but a really nice view from the top. So a very scenic view in the direction to the Thumsee. It is definitely worth it.
