We visited in winter, a lot of the statues and fountains were covered but it was still stunning. I imagine that in a few months the gardens and parklands would be wonderful. It is well worth a visit.

Really well kept gardens, we didn't go inside the castle. One of the best gardens I've seen. Really nice style of building.

You can reach Hermitage very easily buy public bus from ZOH. It takes 20 mins. to get there from ZOH and has a very mild atmosphere because of the trees in its garden.

one of the most elegant sites in the era. together with the altes schloss. the fountains work a few minutes every hour.

visited this castle 45 years ago and it still impresses. what is also impressive is that it costs nothing to visit. this is a wonderful place to spend a few hours, just walking around and enjoying the gardens and paths. it is hard to believe...More

During the winter 9am-6pm. But in the Summer it opens earlier and closes later.
