If you are coming from out of state, it’d probably be easiest to take the train to Stuttgart HBF and then the U-Bahn as there is a stop right outside of Wilhelma. The area has both a zoo and botanical gardens on huge sprawling grounds....More

You see all types of animals from all the corners of the world. At the same time you walk around leisurely in a huge park. Precise explanation on sign post, employees are also helpful

Do not bring your dog! Dogs are strictly not allowed. That said the site is set up for dog owners, at the main entrance, there are dog kennels, which can be rented for a charge. I think this is a great service if you cannot... More
