Covered in snow and ice in March. A beautiful sight - a little eerie. Just a bit too crowded when I went, you have to avoid weekends.

It is amazing attractive mount lake from German ancient tale stories with impressive view on Schwartzwald valley and old forest around lake!

Lake it self is fine but there is a big hotel next to it. And car road - so there are hordes of people on it, next to it, everywhere ... and the lake is rather small - nothing special ... Hard even to park...More

Loved it. Very easy to reach with public transport which are extremely efficient. Lovely place with great views. Would love to see the place in summer.
