Visited this beautiful Island on a cycling tour of Lake constance, well maintained and safe cycling lanes make this an idyllic location. The wildflowers, orchards and vegetable gardens make this a special place

Stopped by leaving Konstanz, and visited the Church of Peter & Paul -- lots of interesting ancient history, and a good museum display to accompany. Do the exhibit before visiting the church for extra clarity.

The three churches which today recall the great Benedictine heritage of this island are well worth a visit. The church of St Peter and St Paul has faded 12th century frescoes in the apse. The more impressive church of St George, with a beautiful cycle...More
