This was a fun part of our trip to Lyon. It was amazing to see the big pulleys and mechanics of the Funiculaires and a great way to travel down from the peak. It is a short trip but worth it.

Great ride, even with one train out of service, but there's way to much graffiti in this otherwise beautiful city.

Always enjoy a funicular - full of charm and character - and welcome after having walked the whole of Lyon before heading up to Fourviere. Only a couple of euros.

Something different so why not try it. Easy, quick and included in the City Pass. Save yourself the climb up the hill. It is a short trip and gets you to the top faster.

This was a very easy way to get up the hill to the Roman ruins and basilica. Was €3 return per person. You can pay by card or coin. Great value.

Best way to get to the top, Easy and well priced. Even on a wet Sunday it ran a regular service. Perfect to get to the Basilica.

This is not a destination activity.....but useful to get up the steep hill to the Cathedral. This line is currently shut, so take the funicular to St Just (also stops at the ruins) exit the station and a shuttle bus to the Cathedral should be...More
