not as impressive a district as old Lyon or the Presque'ile area, but very interesting with more traboules to visit and great views down over the city

We travelled to Croix Rousse on the Road Train from Hotel de Ville (9 euros per person for 1 hour tour) . Great way to see the area + murals and the market. Glad we didn't walk it - looked exhausting!

I came here with some expectations based on the reviews that I read, but honestly, after visiting the other Lyon areas (Vieux-Lyon, Prequ'île etc.), I was a little disappointed. I can't say anything really negative, but I just felt that it hasn't got much to...More

It was a very nice walk, even though I was a bit cold. It's quite beautiful, very historical ! I advise you to also visit the houses of the Canuts.

Some wonderful views across Lyon from a number of different vantage points We spent a couple of hours wandering the area finding many different parks and passageways and small squares to take coffee and enjoy the character of this environment

Great wake up the streets and to see the history of the city of Lyon. Great friend made on the train from Paris to Lyon and they gave me their time to show me around the city.
