This has got to be one of the most charming places in France, possibly Europe. Aristocratic but not conceited, not at all claustrophobic, pedestrian friendly, with clean streets, colorful buildings, and a very relaxed atmosphere that absolutely respects tourists, offering numerous choices, without applying any...More

Annecy is GORGEOUS! I wish we would have stayed a few days but honestly it made for a very nice day trip. However, next time I'm staying for a few days.

Maze of streets. Bustling. Lots of quaint restaurants. Artisan shops. Galleries. Clothing stores. Looks like Venice.

We go to Annecy regularly, and never miss a stroll in the old town..... even though it is very often overrun with tourists, we love the stores selling local specialities (cheese, local wines, local beers, sausages), the galleries and antique shops, bookstores, the 'brocante' on...More

It is really worthy to visit Annecy. A charming little town with wonderful spots to photograph. Lots of souvenir shops and restaurants. Get lost on the narrow streets and enjoy the place.

A very beautiful and picturesque town. I could walk around its pebblestone roads for hours. The places and the old buildings, as well as the river traversing through the town makes it really wonderful.
