Nice to walk around. Venice-feeling and atmosphere. Nothing too exciting but since it's really the main focal point of the "city" you might as well walk around that area.

Probably the most iconic building in all of Annecy, this place has had a couple different vocations over the centuries, including an old prison. Nowadays it’s a museum; I didn’t go in there but I was sure to take plenty of classic Annecy photos with...More

We didn't go to this attraction until our second trip to Old Annecy and were glad you made the choice to go. Spend some time online researching this history gem and you will get a lot more out of this smaller (personal) tour. This changed...More

This was a really atmospheric and picturesque little scene - and deservedly popular. Bought ourselves some coffee and ice cream and sat around and absorbed it all before going to explore... a must visit if in the region.

You may feel like in Venice, many flowers, the channel is clean and you can walk around it very easily. Many places for shoping souvenirs, for eating or drinking a coffee.

Pretty disappointed with this. Hardly any info in English and need more info about the prison and it's prisoners. Not a must see at all. Just admire the outside. If you speak French you might get more out of it.
