This and the great Marseille before Marseille museum in the old Bourse area nearby give a needed feel to the complex and extended history of this great city.

a free small museum just next to city hall and the old port quite nice - explanations of artifacts found in different areas .... quite nicely exposed - A must even if you only have a few minutes :)

A fascinating building externally and worth studying. Internally fairly ordinary but could only visit a small area. Nice as it rises out of the water.

The museum is of no interest, but it is placed in a nice spot next to the mucem. Only if you have time.
