Sited on ruins from Roman times this Cathedral has seem some history pass ! The Church of the Nativity has a fantastic entry tower, very ornate & the interior is just as beautiful and is well worth a look while in Vence !

Very serene and in fantastic condition considering it's age.visit and respect the tradition. Inside is a beautiful mosaic by Chagall done while he was living in Vence. This is located in the old town and will take just moments to enjoy.

Dont miss this medieaval church. Look for the details inside, which consist of a mix of old and new.

Toted as one of France's smallest cathedrals, it was worth exploring. There is a mosaic of the nativity by Matisse in a corner that was so beautiful as well as the details of the ancient church.

As soon as you step inside one gets a sense of its age. The church may be small, but it is impressive. Unfortunately, it was very dark inside and while some reviewers have notes that added to the experience not having 20/20 eyesight I found...More

An interesting, unusual, petite cathedral. Full of beautiful objects and paintings. Shame that it is rather dark but that actually adds to the atmosphere and experience.

This church is from the 4th century, historical for sure. Used Sundays for worship and many other events for the people of Vence. Have a visit an read the information sheet about the event that took place in 1988.

Very interesting with a lot of history but don't think you will get a traditional midnight mass on Christmas Eve. We were very disappointed.

Whoops, I thought you had asked the Matisse Chapel. Yes the Notre Dame Cathedral is open daily b/c it is the central church of Vence.
