With far fewer (hardly any) tourist, this is a fantastic spot compared to many of the more popular villages near by. Great little Violet museum nearby and lovely little shops in the village.

It’s lovely visiting time there on June 25 around 9 am. It’s very nice beautiful morning time as well. Some restaurants, cafes and shops started opening at that time. Everybody there were very friendly and greeting Bon Jour to our family with smiles. It’s hilly region...More

I love the bastides of France, every one of them, but Tourettes-sur-Loup is certainly one of the best. Quiet and beautiful and genuinely serene - even in late June. A sprinkling of rain only added to the charm. I wish I were one of the...More

What makes Tourrettes different from all other medieval villages in Italy or France or the British Isles? Hard to say exactly -- maybe the combination of the friendly market (where a local woman will give you a taste her socca fresh out of the vendor's...More

This must be the most authentic little French village I've ever experienced. The whole place has an incredible laid-back and cozy atmosphere. The perfect place for a couple of days with loved ones. We rented a house with a pool in walking distance from the...More

Ancient and historic market town - unspoilt, sleepy and seemingly genuine. It is in land in the hills, though close enough to Nice and for easy day trips to Monaco/ Monte Carlo to the East and Antibes/Juan Les Pans and Cannes to the West. There...More

A charming and authentic ancient hill town high above the Mediterranean Sea ... amazing views and lovely shops ... not over-run by tourists!

If you have toured quite few of the most important hilltop villages then you might feel if you have seen one you have seen them all. True the streets and narrow walk ways are very similar and all of them have a handful of pretty...More

We stopped in Eze when driving from Nice to Monte Carlo, and we're glad we did. There is a perfume establishment at the base of the village which is a good landmark when driving along the coast. Parking is a challenge. But once you sort...More

Not as large, touristy or crowded as many of its neighbors, it does not lack for character. It has a nice selection of restaurants, great views and fantastic little pathways inside with dwellings dating back hundreds of years. The whole town is built on a...More

Vence is a town rather than a village. But has all you would need. St Paul is a more "spectacular" place with a more toursit feel. Nearer to Nice. Tourrettes sur loup is a smaller village but in my opinion more... More

Most of the shops and cafes should be open. There are buses, but few and far between, Google for a bus website. Only if you have your own transport could you do all 3 in one day. Have fun 👌.
