We absolutely loved the market at first. Amazing food, fruit, vegetables, vegetarian options, spices etc. At the end were cheap clothes etc that did not appeal to us at all but what made us give a lower point was the farmer selling animals. Chicken, rabbits,...More

We were lucky to be in Arles on a Saturday when this market takes place. It is truly not to be missed and was definitely the best market we visited on our trip to Provence and Burgundy. The market is vast, spanning 2 roads in...More

This is a big deal, it runs the length of Old Town on Saturday mornings and has everything! I am not a great fan of these markets as they frequently draw pickpockets and can get very crowded, but they are and amazing sight/smell with all...More

This Saturday market is well worth a visit. I like that it is divided up into mainly clothes, food and other items Interesting to see who shops in which bit. The food market is fantastic and fresh. Watch out for people with shopping trolleys as...More

We found the market was great to see, but there seems to be more on Saturday than the Wednesday. It is a great place because there is an obvious influence of different cultures present in the market. This always adds to the interest. My daughter...More

The open air market in Provence-Alpes-Cote-D'Azur in the south of France is a fine example of a local french market. Produce, cheese, meat and wares in a lively setting, you could spend all day watching people soaking up the culture.

We noticed right away that the greatest number of stalls was for food and clothing. The deals were great and we bought several pieces of Italian fashion as well as wonderful breads and cheeses. I didn't see it but one of my friends found a...More

Nice market on the main street (closed for the traffic) of Arles. I've been their on a Saturday morning and it was full of local products (vegetables, cheese etc) but also other staff (clothes etc).

We love open air markets and this one was very colorful and exhibited the fine foods of the area. It also had other interesting stalls to brows through. It is well worth the visit!
