It is a good visit to learn how they make the calissons. We were on our own and it was fine, glad we didn’t pay for a guided visit. The virtual calisson making is a fun machine and you get a mini-calisson as a reward. The shop is nice, but prices are higher than your regular supermarket. You though get some varieties and flavours that I have not seen in the stores. …

Just for fun because we were in the area, we stopped here and enjoyed watching this famous and delicious snack be made. Very interesting process and worth an hour or so of your time. Of course, had to buy a box but well worth it.

We needed to buy a gift for our hosts. A wide variety of very good marzipan not readily available elsewhere and very tasty. Helpful staff.

We had a very nice visit at the museum! Very interesting and entertaining. Manon, our guide was very professional and friendly. We really enjoyed it and we loved eating Calisson!! We even made our own calisson with Manon 😋

This museum is cleverly designed - film, giant black and white photos, vintage machinery you can touch, glass cabinets, and interactive technology. You can watch the factory floor from windows on high, and rent an audio guide (French or English) for €3. It’s well done and there is plenty to learn. ‘Exit through the gift shop’ might be cliche, and unless you have an audio guide not actually necessary, but it is a marvellous gift shop - worth the browse for sure.…
