This park isn't a must visit, but it's nice to visit if you're close-by and have young children. There is a playground for kids under 5 - but older kids will find that boring.

This park is away from the main part of the town, taking approximately 20 minutes from Cours Mirabeau (the main street). Unless you are looking for a green space to eat a sandwich or have time to sit, it is nothing special. We visited it...More

It is poor place for kids. Quite pitiful in terms of equipment and attraction for the little ones. The number of things is not proportional to the number of children in this park but it is typically for Aix En Provence. I live here and...More

A relatively small park just to the south of the city centre and old town, it’s only distinguishing feature is really a large fountain, but this wasn’t particularly attractive being surrounded by large areas of concrete and didn’t seem to be quite adjusted correctly in...More

It's a very nice park, for Union, New Jersey, maybe. Actually, it's probably more Millburn. But France? Step it up, guys, you know how to do this better than anyone else.

This park was immediately behind our hotel and we enjoyed a peaceful hour amidst a hectic holiday exploring the joys of Provence. We sat on the main open boulevard watching old men playing boules (or should that be pétanque) while a fountain played at the...More

I spent many happy hours in Parc Jourdan as a university student, but I took my family here recently and they found it pretty boring. It's a neighborhood park to hang out in with friends and family. People come here to enjoy some grass, which...More

A park in the city of Marseille, where children can play, athletes do their yoga and others might tan. However, the park may be closed during demonstrations.

The park is, in fact, nothing extraordinary. Like every park, there are always families with pushchairs or with toddlers to walk around or rest here. The park is also full of students spending their spare times or holidays here. Since Aix-en-Provence is an university town,...More

We chose to go to the park for an al fresco lunch. It was quite warm, but we found a bench in the shade. We were entertained by a pair of dogs who ran up to us and looked longingly at our food. The lawns...More
