Just happened upon this church- it was a confirmation day and many little girls dressed up in all white finery were gathering for it. It was lovely to see the ancient and the young together in a magnificent and historic church.

This church has gorgeous stained glass, paintings, sculptures, and architecture. Truly stunning. It is so saddening to see the rip in one giant canvas, and to see plaster patches at every turn - ceiling, walls, columns, floors. Please donate to see this beautiful, place properly restored,...More

This is a quiet place amid a noisy neighborhood. A statue of St. John Paul the Great was a more recent addition.

You can tell that the church is very old. The paintings are extremely dark and can not be made out what is on them. The ceiling and walls also are very dark and well worn.

Beautiful church in the center of Aix-en-Provence and on the sight of a previous hospital. The Cathedrale Saint Sauveur is an amazing sight. Must see.

It was quiet during summer but the university parish is filled with young people during the year with their 7PM Sunday Night Mass & social. The building has it own merit to look around, though very dark.

Famous Roman catholic church of Aix, situated in the very heart of the town, worth a visit especially if you `re religious person.

Simple magnificence, tranquility and peace from the outside. The paintings could do with some cleaning and restoration but the space is deceptive compared with the street facade. Light a candle and spend some time with your thoughts and prayers.
