It is a nice road to take as a detour in the area. Depending on what you are looking for, the starting point and time of day might be of interest. I drove it from Cassis to La Ciotat in the afternoon. The good thing...More

One of the most enchanting ways to drive to Marseille, particularly if you come from Aix-en-Provence, is to first drive to La Ciotat, then take the Route des Crêtes D141 from La Ciotat to Cassis, it is only about 15km/10miles and takes about 30 minutes...More

Whilst driving thru the Gorge I saw this route and went for it. Excellent drive with great views, if you’re lucky you’ll see dozens of eagles circulating below u, a fantastic sight

Make sure you go on a clear day if possible. Outstanding views, not a very long drive and definitely worth the time!

While coming from Cassis we took the Route des Cretes to return home. The route is not always accessible due to possible heavy winds. The winding and turning road provide some scary moments for some of us but the views were breathtaking! Plenty of opportunities...More

If you have a car, this is a great place to come to escape the crowds of Cassis and see the Med from a different angle. There are tons of parking areas with scenic viewpoints, and a few where you can take a short hike...More

If you find yourself in Cassis with a car, it would be a huge mistake to not drive along this costal route. There are many parking areas where you can pull over and take in the gorgeous views. Absolutely breathtaking!

Hi, it can be done, but I would not do it. The road is quite narrow and drivers must pay attention to traffic coming from the opposite direction. It won't be as relaxing as driving a small car, although even that requires... More
