We ate here twice. The first time was for dinner and was OK, but the second time we had a really good lunch. We chose a la carte, duck breast and rump steak, both tender, with good sauces and cooked as ordered.

A beautiful tower can be seen from the chateau and from the top of the Tour Bretagne. This is where the famous L.U. cookies were originally manufactured.

We visited the manga expo that's currently displayed and I am super pleased. Original manga pages, sketches and videos where authors explain their work process, this expo really was packed with information and incredibly beautiful art.

We popped in for a glass of Champagne one afternoon. Slightly brutalist architecture but great service, nice fizz and something a bit different.

Varied things are on offer, not just elite culture but also popular like internet creations and cartoons. Almost too young for us, young retired!

I really enjoyed the exhibitions, 'La biblioteteque, la nuit' and 'Japanese brutalist Art'. The people working there were helpful. There's a bar and a book shop.

There is a bar, café, bookshop, Turkish baths and a nightclub in this former biscuit factory. It typifies the spirit of Nantes which is dynamic and unique. If you're in Nantes then definitely have a look.
