The bar is slightly overpriced with decent drinks. The waiting staff isn't too bad for how many people they are looking out after; it's easier to just order at the bar. The location of the bar is very nice and convenient which makes it an easy spot to meet your friends at.

Visited this place after reading all the positive reviews on this website - my experience was at variance with all these glowing commendations. First of all we tried to get a drink inside the establishment (it was threatening rain) but the loud rap music was competing strenuously with some sport on TV, and since we like to talk while drinking (I know, I know, we're eccentrics), we beat a retreat to the tables outside. Mistake. Service was deplorable - 15 minutes before an order was taken, another 5 before our beers arrived, all the while being kippered by the industrial level of smoking going on in ALL of the tables around us. When it came, the beer was rather tasty, and there is a good selection of craft ales. But the prices (outside Happy Hour) are steep - well over what you would pay in a similarly 'cool' place in central London. The pub was jam-packed, so it obviously has its appeals - but for the life of me I don't know what they are.…
