This garden is exceptional. There are many different plants, flowers and trees with small lakes. There are many places to sit and take in the wonderful planting. I visited with my wife and friends at the end of May, and was highly impressed. Late April/early May would be the optimum time for azaleas and rhododendrons, but there is always much to see throughout the year.…

Please make a stop on your route to the more formal gardens of the Loire chateaux and you will not be disappointed. It is so tranquil with many different areas to enjoy with lakes and planted areas but still managing to remain in a natural setting. It is always such a pleasure to return when we are in the area and is truly one of our favourite gardens that we have visited anywhere.…

Wonderful collections of hostas, rhododendron, azalea, acers....the attention to design detail was stunning.....an oasis for plant lovers tucked away in the woods... Fabulous start to the holiday.... Thank you for sharing a little piece of heaven.

Lovely welcome by the owners. You follow a trail around different areas of planting. There are various areas to rest. There are photos from 1977 through to present day to see how the garden started to how it has evolved. Drinks and small gifts available. I would recommend visiting in summer or autumn for the best displays. …

This is a magical place. It is very special and unique. It is unbelievable how this place was before it became so beautiful (there are several albums that follow the process). It was also amazing to see how the garden is changing through the year, at the different seasons (unfortunately, we have been there only once, but there is a very nice book that showing that). This is an excellent place to visit, both for couples and families.…
