The Musee Villa Montebello takes a bit of finding - it is set back from the furthest end of the beach. However, the walk is well worth it. The exhibition of paintings, sketches and drawings, mainly featuring Trouville is wonderful and the member of staff...More

This is a fine art museum in an amazing mansion with ocean views and a nicely kept yard. The exhibit is small but it's only 3 euros, can't complain. Saw the whole museum in under an hour, but spent an hour sitting on the benches...More

We visited this charming museum/house which exposed a collection of paintings, sketches and engravings by Charles Mozin who devoted much of his artistry to life at Trouville. His works, for a relatively unknown painter, are truly lovely and rival some of the great contemporaries of...More

Don't go here if you're expecting fantastic views (the glass panes are quite old/dusty) or original 19th century interiors (sadly those were removed). Do go here if you like history and/or old masters' paintings. This is a small and very cosy museum which features the...More

Located in the of the grand houses that have sweeping views this small art museum is quirky but worth the visit at 3 Euros!! The first floor contains three rooms dedicated to painters who have documented the lives of fishermen and sea farers, the top...More

Magnificent French seaside villa, worth the 3 euros entry just to look inside. The first floor is more of an art gallery but does have some artefacts, the second floor was closed off, and the ground floor usually has a permanent exhibition, which was setting...More

And also a good way to learn local architecture and lifestyle of 18th century. Stunning view on the sea and a nice small garden to sit and relax or make some drawings if you paint.

We thought we'd get to see the villa itself...nope. 2 Euros gets you into the first two floors, there are a few art exhibitions...nice but nothing mind-blowing...The rooms themselves have been completely stripped of any original decor so there is nothing at all to look...More

I absolutely loved this Museum. It is a little walk from the town centre but I took the diddy train and the lovely driver on it stopped the train outside of the Museum (which he shouldn't really have done to help me). Small but interesting...More

A creaking old mansion wth a pleasant enough collection of (I guess) local artists, and paintings of Trouville over the last century or so. Only 3e entry and worth the ten minute walk from the centre of town - particularly if you stick to the...More
