This is place is a must go if you are in Lisieux and if you are following the path of St.Therese of Lisieux, she did her first communion here and is a must see if you are in town.

Those in charge of this church have taken some steps to provide lighting for some if its features, which is an improvement over many of its counterparts in other formly important cities.

The place has a fantastic acoustic and when visited, a spectacle in the honour of the beatification of Therese de Lisieux it proved to be excellent for translating the message of Therese.

I was lucky to see the Cathedral, to sit quietly and hear first the bells chiming but then the organ playing, practicing for a concert it was just magic. How lucky this city id to have two such glorious buildings.

Nice gothic church that could use a face lift. It is fairly simply on the inside. The facade is really beautiful but definitely needs a good cleanup and restoration. Worth a visit when in the area.

A remarkable piece of heritage and architecture. I was blown away by its magnitude on the outside and inside for the large amount of stained glass windows, sculptures and paintings . It is very humbling to sit inside an impressive building such as this, religious...More

Not one of the three main Lisieux pilgrimage sites, and not an outstanding Cathedral by French standards (where every big town has a stunning 'Cathedrale'!) but a lovely place to pray, and a place which has the advantage of being between a beautiful garden and...More

Don't expect a rival of Rouen and a soaring nave because this is a fairly small, intimate cathedral but well worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

Spend time in the alcoves saying hello to the Saints and to the park in the back which is exquisite.
