We also visited this one where William the conqueror was buried. Very interesting to see and a must on your list to see while visiting this historical town of Caen.

It had been years since I had visited and I was glad I stopped in again. I was reminded of the significance and connection of this church to Caen’s history during the time of William the Conquerer as well as during WWII.

This is where you can find the tomb of William the Conquerer. Not a huge church. Worth visiting if there's time.

It is across the street from Abbey of Saint-Etienne also known as Abbaye aux Hommes. This church had been abandoned several times during the past centuries. Its condition does not allow it open to the public.
