Like many of the churches I recently visited in Caen, this church had a display of the church before WWII and information about the reconstruction. This has always been a striking church to pass by and now that I have seen photos of it squeezed...More

I loved this building. The light through the stained glass windows and the lantern tower were fantastic. lovelyon a sunny wintery day. Liked the relics of new saints Louis and Zelie Martin.plenty of opportunities to light candles which is always a good thing!

Another beautiful church in Caen that is worth a visit, a lot of restoration work being done but looks great both outside and inside . Church suffered badly during the battle of Normandy but still standing .

Inspiring and I have never seen so much carved stonework. There is a lot of information around on the work being carried out.

We happened to wander past this Gothic church on our way into the city centre from the train station. I think it is my favorite of the many churches in Caen, mainly because of large number of interesting gargoyles as well as the light and...More
