This little museum is well worth a visit when you go to the Chateau Ducal, especially if you have an interest in archaeology or classics. Great displays, with English, describing the history of Normandy from the Neolithic on.

Musee de Normandie is a great place to get acquainted with the history of Normandy in about an hour. The Paleolithic, Gallic, and Roman sections are especially strong.
