Me and my brother attended the service. It was an interesting experience, being Protestants we had never been to a Catholic service. The interior on the other has is beautiful.

Four of us attended Mass there, which was in French. A high light was a baptism of an infant and very solemn ceremony. A nice added touch for the Catholic ceremony.

Unfortunately the tower was closed due to the lift being broken. The information centre is housed in the building. And the staff were friendly and helpful.

Built in 1440 this bell tower of Dunkirk is truly amazing, with a lift to take you part way to the top, then stairs to the very top and all for a €3.50 ticket price. Great experience.
