This ride should not be missed. We spent a pleasant two hours seeing the sights along the canal, experiencing Locks and how they work, and the beautiful scenery around the canal. Well worth the time.

It's a green corridor in a hectic city. Although the sound of traffic is always present in the background, it does offer stretches of calm tranquillity. Not sure I'd wander there in the dark, though...

Canal de Brienne is the lesser known cousin of Canal du Midi. It's picture perfect with bridges and trees, and nice for a walk in the heat.
