You will find several historic attractions and museums associated with or dedicated to St. Bernadette throughout Lourdes including this small Musee Stainte-Bernadette along Boulevard Remi Sempe not far from the East entrance to the Sanctuary of Lourdes grounds. Opening hours are 9am to 12pm (morning) and 2-6pm (afternoon).

On the day of our visit, there was one room available for viewing. There we found a panel with a time history of Bernadette's apparitions, a few pictures and small sculpture of Bernadette along with a streetscape model as well as a larger scale model of Lourdes and what it would have looked like during the 1850s when the apparitions of the Virgin Mary were experienced by St. Bernadette.

Looking at pictures of this museum from the past it appears there is more to be seen here, perhaps upstairs or in the other room which was being used for Easter event preparations during our visit. The single room we were able to enter can be viewed comfortably in no more than 5-10 minutes.

A small museum dedicated to St. Bernadette. Learn more about her story by visiting here, it's free to entry.
There is also a nice little model of how the Grotto area used to look like.
A good place to have a look around.
There is a nice statue of St. Bernadette outside, although some people had parked their cars I'm front of it, didn't seem right.

One of the must visit if you are on a limited time. Very informative and a good start to get to know St. Bernadette and the area she grew up in at the time of the apparitions.

Not a place to rush around! It is the perfect place to learn all about the life of Bernadette. It is free entry but there were no guides when I went so be prepared to do your research first!

Not a large museum by comparison to others but tells the story of Bernadette through photos and personal items. If you are in the Sanctuary stop by and spend a ½ hour getting to know St. Bernadette.

Very good place to stop for a lot of information on Bernadette. Good display of pictures and primary sources one can peruse - probably about 30-45 minutes is enough if you read all the photo captions...very close to the sanctuary area so why not?

The St. Bernadette Museum is not large but it has very nice exhibits and recounts her life story. Displays of her personal items and photographs were very informative and provided a touching view of St. Bernadette.

I have read several books about St Bernadette books and this museum is like a real encounter with Bernadette and all the people that interacted with her during her life in Lourdes, is like a condensed history with original pictures of that time and the most intereserting ...the displays of the personal belongings of Bernadette

In this museum, you could find the wonderful story of St Bernadette. The Certificate of Baptism of the Saint was also displaced. By visiting this Museum, you would understand God sees people in their heart.
