Stuffed full of papers, photos, maps and old things. Very knowledgable 'staff' - a fascinating collection open in the afternoons unless a group booking.

Being British and not having Beeb invaded by aggressive forces( well for a thousand years or so) its humbling to see just how the locals in Cahors survived The War. Excellent displays and exhibits well worth a trip.

This is a small museum but packed full of fascination. Probably useful to have an understanding of French but not essential. Some disturbing exhibits on second floor, so perhaps not suitable for (younger)children. Favourite exhibits, old transmitter/radio in a large book, tiny wood coffin sent...More

Many personal stories and good chronology of the development and involvement of the Resistance. Mostly in French but regardless the museum can still be appreciated.

So interesting. Only wish I was able to understand French it would have made The experience much more enjoyable. I believe as we were allies the information should be cross referenced in English.

This museum has many paper exhibits, photographs and documents associated with the activities of the macquis andthere are good dispalays of hardware as well. If you are interested in these aspects of WW2 allow a couple of hours for a visit.
