This Place is beautifully designed with a row of trees and lovely buidings either side. Walk to the end and go to the square on the right for a drink and enjoy the ambiance of France

when entering the plaza from Arc Here, the setting is grand, but looking into details, the trees are dying, probably with pests and the houses along the linden way was not well maintained and many looks like deserted. it was more of a car park with...More

Same issues as on the Place d'Alliance. Some of the linden trees are slowly dying. Predominantly known for the symmetry of the buildings. Link between the City Hall and the Palace of the Dukes of Lorraine.

After an exciting tour in the city this place is to come down. Walk a round and enjoy the views or have a seat on one of the benches. There are only very few cafes around.

Much of the historic centre of Nancy is like a concentrated version of Paris and this lovely elongated square is a classic example. With its long central open space (surely used for markets?) and it's surrounding ensemble of 18th century buildings it's quite lovely. The...More

The link between the magnificent square and the architectures of pre-emptive magistrates is an open space surrounded by beatifull trees. You can imagine how it was practiced in the 18th century for millitairy exercises.

Not as big as Place Stanislas but pretty nice and leads straight to the bigger esplanade. Lots of opportunities for shade on hot and sunny days.

Beautiful parc/boulevard leading to Place Stanislas. You are sure to walk by/through it if you explore the restaurants around the Place. The trees lining the park and the statues there found make it a peaceful and quieter area, especially after visiting the adjacent plaza.
