This building was one of my priorities for coming to Nancy. Unfortunately the tour (which I had reserved in advance) was mainly of the exterior (and in French). The first floor has interesting art nouveau detailing, and the diningroom has a great fireplace and dome...More

Although there is still work to do here, the Villa is the best example of Art Nouveau architecture open to the public (only weekend tours and only by booking). The guides a knowledgeable but you need reasonable French to follow details. Just looking is good...More

A most disappointing journey and waste of a bus ticket, since despite having visited the Tourist Bureau on arrival and saying we were in Nancy specifically to study the Art Nouveau Buildings we knew nothing about the re-furb! We'd left this example, supposedly the jewel...More

I misunderstood other reviews which stated tours were available on the weekends. I thought this was an option. In fact, that's all that's available - only reserved tours on the weekends. This is at least until the renovations are finished which could take a very...More

The Villa is a classic of the Art Nouveau. It is a little run down but it is in the slow process of being restored. Well worth a visit. The tours only happen at the weekend and you need to book. The very helpful staff...More

A beautiful Art Noveau Villa on the outside, but coming inside you will find that the restoration project just started. Basically no furnishing, and basically empty rooms. The guide gave a good explanation about the history and future plans but unfortunately only in French. Althoug...More
