I visited nimes 4 years ago and I remember this amazing garden. I really suggest you a visit and don’t forget to take pics to beautiful swans!

Enjoyed a walk through here by the pools and Temple of Diana after doing the city sights. Well worth the effort. Try and visit the Magne Tower at the top of the hill for wonderful views over Nimes

very nice gardens interspersed with fountains and waterways. probably gets busy mid season but there are plenty of shaded areas to get out of the mid day sun. For those who climb to the top of the gardens there is a panoramic view of Nimes.

These 18th century formal gardens adorned with ornamental statues are used by local and visitors. In one corner is the Temple of Diane - a Roman ruin worth wandering around. Steep steps at the back of the gardens lead to the Tour Magne, a Nimes'...More

We had to go back the next day to see the Fountain in daylight as it was quite dark by the time we walked up and down the garden which is on a fairly steep slope. The Fountain is on the bottom of the garden...More

We wish we could have had more time to explore this park. Ancient ruins, lovely gardens and lots of bird life. You could spend a day here ...our favourite part of out time in Nimes.

Very nice to visit and walk around. See the gardens as they were during their hey day. Enjoy a nice walk in the park.

At first glance it seems like just a park with a lot of water however on exploring you find hidden gems like the Roman temple and the truly beautiful large ponds. Walk up the hill for a breathtaking view or just stroll around the gardens

Yes, it is totally free to walk all around the gardens and the Temple of Diana. Fairly pricey charge to go up the tower at the very top of the gardens, but the view is quite spectacular!
