There is really not a lot here but do it in conjunction with the park and tower and it will fill a good morning/afternoon. It's all a short walk from the centre but the temple is not really worth it on its own as it...More

If you have decided that you are going to visit the Jardin des Fontaines and perhaps the Tour Magne, then definitely stop by the Temple of Diana - it is right there in the garden, and free, and will take only 5 minutes of your...More

The temple of Diana is a interesting spot to catch when touring the Jardins de la Fontaine. I wouldn't suggest it is a destination in an of itself. The Tour de Magne is, however, a great destination and brings one through the gardens and near...More

There's not much left and there is not a lot of explanatory information available on site, but if you like ruins then this is still very fun to see. There is really just one big room and then a passageway back to a smaller room....More

This is an interesting temple. It situated in a very lovely park with water all throughout. The features on the interior also are interesting in that it appears to be like a library from Roman times. I would recommend this place for a stop when...More

We saw this at the end of our visit and glad we did! Impressive structure and in a park like setting. Something about the Roman beauty really struck me. Worth a look for sure and I bet many miss it!!

It just shows you how it would have been and indeed how it would be if the Romans had hung around till today . Exquisite workmanship and thoughtful restoration.

Nimes has a lot of Roman history and this Temple was discovered when digging out the canals for industry and creating the park. We enjoyed our visit here.

This relatively well preserved Roman temple still has a lot of visible features of its great importance in the city. Located in a magnificent garden, it is a very good add to any visit to Nimes

The temple is quite small but it was fun to visit because you can really walk around every part of it and at least when we were there we had it all to ourselves and we could take some good pictures and it felt really...More
