Beautiful large room with paintings, sculptures, and nice ceilings. However the whole Palace looks in need of maintenance. Furniture are clearly fake. The crowd - who seems to be there just to take pictures- makes the visit quite disappointing.

A fantastically impressive gallery which features some wonderful paintings featuring and to some degree memorialising battles and wars of yesteryear. The quality of the paintings and the rich flavour of history that's evoked from everyone is profoundly enjoyable.

I was happy to walk through this gallery. Being a Napoleon fan I enjoyed the battle scenes with him. The painters have depicted several glorious battle scenes.

Hundreds of huge battle related painting all in magnificant condition, displayed in a beautiful long gallery. Many marble busts of important French military men through the years too. Great for history buffs.

Wars are "celebrated" in the huge murals lining both walls of this vast hall. Look close and you will see how much pain was inflicted with all different types of weapons from spears, rock and arrows to sophisticated armaments. The mural even include the Battle...More

This is the second most interesting portion of the Palace (close second behind the hall of Mirrors) the remainder of the palace has some interesting sculptures and paintings but the highlight of the Palace is the estate grounds/landscaping.
