The second best room in the Versailles Palace for me. Make sure you opt for the audio guide. Informative & makes it an immersive experience

The Chapel was beautiful on the ground floor, and lavishly appointed by the French Kings. The view of the chapel from the upstairs private balcony of the Royal Family (which used it to worship apart from common folk literally below them) was interesting as well.

Stunning chapel that you will see twice while on standard Palace tour. A must see but you can't go in room currently as major renovation project is in progress.

As we were on the kings apartment tour our guide was able to get hold of the key and let us look inside the chapel. It is closed to the general public but i couldn't see why. It does have scaffolding all around the outside...More
