Walking distance from the castle. you have access to an authentic XVIII "hotel particulier". This museum, away from the noise and the crowd is the historical museum of the city holding several sculptures and paintings, but more astonishing, you will be transported to the XVIII century by "entering" into private rooms," salle à manger", "chambre à coucher" et "bureau" having the feeling your host, just moved behind the door... Please visit this rare place able to provide you the feeling how certain XVIII century people use to live.…

If anyone is interesting to see more classical furniture, scultpures and paintings after visiting the Palace and Trianon, yes it is well worth the time. Try to schedule your visit during temporary exhibitions.
