Have seen many cathedrals on our trip in Europe and this is very typical. Lovely large square in front where there is a market on Tuesday but when we went there was no evidence of a market. Large organ - would love to hear it.
I found Cathedral Saint-Louis by accident whilst strolling around the streets of Versailles. It’s located in a beautiful historical district with many gorgeous neoclassical buildings. If staying in the area of Versailles it’s definitely worth a visit.
This is a nice Cathedral and it has a history that is a key part of the revolution and Versailles. The only downside is someone got away with ruining the altar by placing a dreadful grey Modernist piece in the middle of the church. Go...More

We saw this on the map and had time to kill. A large and important church in its time. Sadly with no wheelchair access so we all couldn't go in. The inside was v nice but not as good as the church in the centre...More
