Nice walk from the Eiffel Tower to Trocadero
Jun 2018 • Couples
We had just finished visiting the Eiffel Tower and decided to head to Trocadero as many people were waling that way. It seemed like a great spot to get more pics of the tower. Along the way we saw this nice passageway across the river and it was a rather nice stroll. It was hot but there were plenty of ice refreshments there. You will enjoy this walk.

A walk along the Seine on Quai Branly
Jun 2017
Promenade de Quai Branly is for skaters, bikers, lovers, and for those who love the river seine. It is on the left bank of the river where restaurants line up even under the bridges. While walking, bateau mouches sail and men would shout je t'aime at the women passengers who blew kisses on the air. these are some of the places along the quai where one can go: musee d'orsay where there's an exhibition of mystical landscapes from monet to kandinsky and musee du louvre, the world's largest museum.

Pretty Spot, Monuments along the Way
Nov 2016 • Couples
Great place to snap some photos of the Seine and the Eiffel Tower, plus view the gardens of the Museum Quai Branly. Good spot for a long walk, but not well served by public transit.

Stroll Along
Sep 2016 • Friends
If you have time it is nice to just stroll and enjoy life. Fun to look at other tourists snapping pictures, waving from boats. Keep the kids away from the edge and dogs.

A wide, flat, lovely walk along the Seine
Aug 2014 • Couples
This lengthy promenade, which stretches between the Pont de Bir-Hakeim and the Pont de l’Alma, was constructed in the early 1940s on a length of former railroad right-of-way (old Invalides-Versailles line) situated on a high bluff bordering the Seine. Today this broad, flat, relatively quiet walkway is great for strolling, relaxing, and sightseeing. Benches and pretty little gardens are spaced along the route. The pathway offers attractive views of the Seine. Trees and shrubs block much of the traffic noise from adjacent Quai Branly.. The Promenade du quai Branly offers access to the Eiffel Tower and the Pont d'Iéna. During a recent visit to the Eiffel Tower we chose this path while returning to our cruise ship because we wanted to try something different and knew that the walking would be less difficult than the river level walkway, which has stretches that are narrow and cobbled or uneven. Photography tip, no extra charge. Access to the promenade from the Eiffel Tower in direction Pont de Bir-Hakeim (downstream) is not clearly marked. You’ll find it next to the carousel. Just a short way down this path in direction Pont de Bir-Hakeim you can get a wonderful been-there-done-that photo of the Eiffel Tower without hordes of people in the foreground. You might want to take advantage of this photo op even if a long stroll on the promenade isn’t in your plans.
