During our self guided walking tour of Montmarte, we got to see, the wonderful streets, buildings and squares/parks/gardens, that make up this wonderfully hilly area. I am not familiar with this singer but she lived in Montmatre and is buried in its cemetery. The statue is worth seeking out if you are on a stroll through Montmartre because the view from the statue of the rising streets of Montmartre and Sacre Coeur is like a painting waiting to be made. You can also rub Dalida's breasts for luck. At least that's why I think those areas of the statue are worn as they are.…

For those who have heard and appreciated her music, in both French and Italian, this is a nice little tribute to the late singer, whose life ended so tragically in 1987. The statue is located in a very nice shady and quiet spot in Montmartre. Hardly any tourists were there. A pleasant (mainly) downhill 20 minute walk from the side of the Sacre Coeur. As i said, well worth an early morning stroll for fans of Dalida.…

Just a small bust of Dalida placed in a lovely quiet square in her beloved Montmartre. Very tactile, as you can tell by the patina on her breasts! Slightly off the beaten track, not many tourists manage to find it. In a totally residential area away from the bustle of Place du Tertre. A small but lovely gem to find and a must for Dalida fans.…
