Situated on the Rive Gauche (left bank) of the River Seine and sharing the Montparnasse district with the 6th and 14th arrondissements, it is the city's most populous arrondissement. The Tour Montparnasse – the tallest skyscraper in Paris – and the neighbouring Gare Montparnasse are both located in the 15th arrondissement, at its border with the 14th. It is also home to the Parc des Expositions which is near the Parc des Princes and houses Porte de Versailles exhibition centre, the high-rise district of the Front de Seine (or Beaugrenelle).

My first time in Paris but this location was close to public transport, an easy stroll to a number of important sites and home to a great variety of food/drink locations. Thoroughly recommend.

It is the largest arrondissement by both area and population. The famous skyscraper Tour Montparnasse as well as the neighboring railway station Gare du Montparnasse are both on the eastern border of the 15th arrondissement, although the actual district of Montparnasse is right across the border...More

Pari's most populous Arrondissement, middle class residential. Not a lot for the tourist to see here, but if you want to see where real people live, take a look.

The 15th is a real folksy area of Paris, where real Parisians really live, not the 1% living in enormous buildings. Lots of cool restaurants, and open air markets. It's not really a place for tourists unless you want to get a feel of real...More

On the left bank of the Seine, you can find Tour Montparnasse, the tallest building in Paris. It's an attraction in itself, especially at night.

This is a great location to stay in when visiting Paris. It is non-touristy, but has everything you will need. There are many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets (Carrefour, Monoprix), etc. This neighbourhood also has 2-3 metro stations. I stayed right next to the Cambronne station. The...More

Yes, it's not tourist worthy. No high-end shops or monuments; It's a great place to live, but not to visit.
