We love the Marais and we love Jules and Jim. Tucked away quietly with easy walking to Notre Dame, Pompidou, Sainte Chapelle, the bateaux, the islands, Champs Elysee and a wide variety of restaurants and shopping, what more could you want? Yes, the rooms may be a bit small but hey, it's Paris and the rate is terrific. Plus, all the furnishings and details are top notch and hip. A discreet outdoor patio along with delicious food make it a perfect place to escape the busy city. Plus, this building has lots of character. The staff, each and every one, goes out of their way to assist. None of this arrogant Parisian reputation. They are real and helpful and upbeat. We've always stayed in Paris' Left Bank, but this trip we decided to try the Marais. We chose Hotel Jules and Jim, and we're glad we did. The hotel, located on a quiet street lined with stores selling ladies accessories, is extremely well run, wonderfully designed, and staffed with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people. They made reservations and helped us with transportation issues. Every detail, from the toiletries and towels to the mirror that's a TV, is well thought out and of quality. We didn't visit their bar, but appreciated that it was there. We'd certainly come back again.…

Simply cool style,...everything is well thought out and executed in the highest quality materials, it's very pleasing. It's hip, even our most chic Parisian girlfriend thinks it's the current best place to stay in Paris. We couldn't agree with her more. Great location, near everything you'd want to do, eat, drink, shop and party. People were incredibly friendly and the staff at the hotel couldn't be better. Out pals Augustine and Regis in the bar were so very efficient and kind to us. Many thanks, my wife and I had an incredible stay with you!…

The cocktail served at this place where remarkable. I had one named Green Day which was amazing if you have a sweet tooth and my fiance had one called spicy lady and described it as like a bloody Mary but the sort you would have as a pre-drink to a night out. The setting was good I like the style of the bar generally it was cool and laid-back.…
