I have had the honor of visiting this most beautiful church in Montparnasse. The first time I was in awe of the steel infrastructure supporting the very high roof and the beauty of the internal layout, I joined the morning service and took Mass. Lots of wood, very odd design, and this is way out of the way, but I was totally charmed and loved its unique quality. Come and experience something different in Paris.

But then you get inside, and it's like a cross between the Eiffel Tower and a factory, and quite unlike any church I've ever seen (and I've visited countless, across 5 continents). It is very peaceful and inspiring and somehow evocative of the soaring Gothic spaces that it looks nothing like. Best of all, it's free, utterly uncrowded and open daily until after 7pm.…
