We happened upon this shop as we were trying to find our way from one attraction to another and decided to go inside. A sales lady, after telling us her English was not good, proceeded to explain in perfect English the detail about the store, it's history, architecture and curiosities. It was unlike any shopping experience I have had in my life. This location is exceptionally beautiful inside with huge rattan basket-like exhibits housing it's collections. Even if you don't plan to buy anything Hermes while in Paris, you should stop by to see this store. It is worth the trip and you may just decide, as we did, that you need an Hermes souvenir ... because as our guide explained: Tiffany's may be an American icon, but Hermes is Paris.…

Dreadful customer service. Bought a very expensive watch for my wife but I ordered the wrong strap. Hermes customer service wouldn't exchange it, rather offered to sell a new strap!

Walked in. Place was not busy. There were tons of SA just standing there but not one bother asking if we need any help. They rather just chat among themselves. Tried making eye contact with a few but again still no service. So we just walked out.

As expected, we got there 30 minutes before the store opens in hopes that we will find what we've been hoping for: a birkin or kelly. Don't forget to log on to their site the day before to set up an appointment. Even if you submitted the appointment request, chances are they may reply back to let you know they are fully booked. The sales people on the lower level in the jewelry department are surprisingly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend at least that level if you are interested in purchasing anything other than a birkin or kelly. …
